Derrick jumps on a lawnmower every time that we go into a store. He saw these at Lowes and he had to get one one. Go figure:)

Derrick has always loved a lawnmower since he was little. He has cut grass by himself for the last 3 years and he loves it. He wants to start cutting grass for people in our neighborhood but I still think he is a little to young. He has cut our grass all last year and this year so far. He does a good job....of course, that is a boy....and will not quit until it is perfect.

I think raising a boy is one of the hardest things that I will ever do in my life. I love him so much and he knows this and I think he takes advantage of this. I had to punish him tonight and tomorrow but he thinks he will talk me out of it (most of the time he does) but I am going to hold firm on his punishment and Rick is 100% behind me. I rather pull my hair out one strand at a time than punish him but I have to this time.
